As part of the Passion to Profession series, MUGI and Semos Education hosted the second session, “Marketing in Video Games”, featuring Tanja Levo, Co-founder & Performance Marketing Consultant at AppSampo.

With over 20 years of experience in the mobile industry (from her early days at Nokia to collaborations with 50+ game and app studios worldwide), Tanja shared her deep expertise in user acquisition, analytics, monetization, and the evolving role of AI-driven discovery in connecting games with their audiences.

The session offered participants a practical overview of how marketing drives the success of modern games, emphasizing the importance of each phase in the game launch cycle — from pre-soft launch to global scale.

Throughout the session, participants explored how marketing shapes the future of video games and what it takes to reach global success.
